Down Syndrome Ireland was established in 1971 and since then has been campaigning, advocating, fundraising and celebrating the lives of children and adults with Down syndrome, and now has over 4,000 members and 25 branches nationwide.
Providig 'all-through'life' support services to people with Down syndrome with specialists in the areas of new parents. health, early development, speech & Language, education, employment and independence that enhance the lives of thousands of individuals and their families throughout Ireland.
Every year DSI needs to raise up to 82% of its costs to continue providing these essential services, and are therefore heavily relaint on public fundraising. Our charity shops are a vital part of our fundraising activity and your support is very much appreciated.
